We have worked in the industry running catered chalets for over 18 seasons and pioneered the ‘original’ chalet host cookery course. Our family of over 100 marvellous staff exceeds guest expectations every week of each season and we believe that we have the recipe to teach you too how to be totally fabulous.
Getting a feel for cooking at altitude; you cannot simulate this anywhere else and it is not as easy as it looks – cooking at high altitudes differs from cooking at sea level. Recipes that yield reliable results in the UK may not turn out properly in Tignes.. we will help you prepare well for all that your season will throw at you.
A large part of the French Alps sits across the Savoie region, the Savoie has its own unique cultural, historical, political and social background .. we will take you to the markets and supermarkets in the region to make sure that you understand what French food and shopping for it is all about.
